With the arrival of our wonderful piano and its anticipated debut over the next couple of weeks, I would like to thank all who participated in making it possible, yet another example of the remarkable generosity and commitment of our congregation. Thanks to Karen Haslag for leading the search.
Our thoughts now turn toward our spring clean-up from 9 to 12 this coming Saturday morning, April 30th. Our primary focus will be on the cleaning of Fellowship Hall and the related purging of accumulated, non-essential stuff that needs to occur every few years. Dave and Bob will be leading a small, skilled team (that's not me) in repairing the ramp. We also need a couple of volunteers who can bring an iron and paper bag to take the hardened candle wax off the sanctuary floor under the guidance of Dave. Please resist the temptation to custom-manicure the garden as we have gardening staff to do that and it looks great.
Speaking of the garden, our dedication service of the memorial garden has been pushed back until a Sunday in early June so we can prepare and install the plaques as we would like. Stay tuned for a confirmed date.
With gratitude to all!
