Dear KCC Members and Friends,
Our annual meeting last Sunday was a terrific success. Many of you attended and the Annual Report was presented, with highlights and comments from Jim Fish as Pastor, Tim Dorman as Moderator, Dave Crockett as Treasurer, and authors of board and committee reports. Three of our members were elected to the Board of Trustees: Tim Dorman (continuing on for a second term), Don Green, and Marjorie MacLeod. Welcome to these new Trustees and a big THANK YOU to those of you who are continuing on the board and those who have just completed terms. THANK YOU, also, to you, our congregation for your hard work and dedication. You are the heart and soul of Kenwood Church and you make it the wonderful place that it is.

Other news of the church--
Please remember the following church members and friends in your prayers:
Frank and Michael
Preston and Donna
A prayer for recovery from sickness:
Almighty and merciful God, you are the only source of health and healing; you alone can bring calmness and peace. Grant to us, your children, an awareness of your presence and a strong confidence in you. In our pain, our weariness, and our anxiety, surround us with your care, protect us by your loving might, and permit us once more to enjoy health and strength and peace; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
From the Moderator--
Sitting here in the afterglow of our annual meeting, I am still feeling grateful for and proud of the extraordinary people who make up our congregation and the collective contribution that we make. The essence of who we are was on full display on Sunday. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on where we’ve been who we are and where we want to go. And now it is time to continue the journey; there is still work to be done and I look forward to doing it with you.
Grateful for your confidence and even more, your presence,
2015 Annual Report is on the Website!
If you missed the Annual Meeting last Sunday, we're pleased to announce that the 2015 Annual Report has been published to our new website at the following link:
Many thanks to Anna. Having the Annual Report published online is a first for KCC!
March 13--Not a Second Sunday Potluck, but a Genuine St. Patrick's Day Irish Lunch
Please join us for something different on the Second Sunday in March. Sue and Dale send this invitation: "It's the gathering of the clans for a St. Patrick's Day Irish dinner. Please come and enjoy as our guests. Let's fill the social hall with the luck of the Irish. Right after church on March 13. See you then." A sign up sheet will be in the Fellowship Hall this Sunday so that Sue and Dale will know how many of us 'Irish at Heart' to expect. Thank you Sue and Dale!
Women of the World (WOW) to meet on March 16
Ladies, don't miss having a fun day. A furnished potato bar and a style show presented by the Assistance League of Sonoma County. The models will be volunteers from their thrift store--'New to You," and their outfits, from spring donations. Sounds like fun, doesn't it?
Please sign up if you are coming and can bring special toppings for the potatoes. Everything else (potatoes, etc.) will be furnished. Maggie Martin is our WOW Hostess for March.
Have a wonderful week, and we hope to see you in church soon.
