Women of the World
The Women of the World group (WOW) meets the third Wednesday of each month for a potluck luncheon and a discussion of contemporary issues.
The church choir graces worship services during the Advent and Lenten seasons.
A highlight of the Advent season is our annual free Gingerbread Extravaganza early in December. Children of all ages delight in decorating gingerbread houses to begin the holiday season.
Red Carnation Ladies
The Red Carnation Ladies volunteer on wedding days to help facilitate all the details of the event. Their goal is to make the couple's experience as stress-free as possible.
Christmas Eve Candle Light Service
On Christmas Eve, we celebrate the joyous occasion of Christ's birth with a candle light carol service.
Our Bible book discussion and study group considers the origin and purpose of the Bible. The group meets at a deacon's home throughout the course of study.
Men's Bell Choir
The Men’s Bell Choir plays for special occasions and are a joy to hear.
Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction
Each Fourth of July, we host a Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction. These events are a long-standing part of Kenwood’s old-fashioned Independence Day celebration.
The Kenwood Quilters meet weekly and create beautiful quilts for church fundraisers. They have annual retreats at Westerbeke Ranch. Knitters and crocheters are welcome too!
